Teens


The Attic Youth Ministry Center began in October 2006 and was born out of a passion to reach out to the Youth of our community while giving them a safe place to hang out. 

What you’ll find at The Attic are caring adults, great food and games all in a facility designed for teenagers. 

The Attic is the white house directly across Townline Road from our main entrance, adjacent to our west parking lot.

WHEN IT HAPPENS:  Sunday Nights, 6:00-8:00 pm, October-June
WHO COMES:  Teens in grades 6-12, from any school district or any church
WHAT HAPPENS THERE:  Foosball, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Basketball, Pinball, Nitendo, Gamecube, Music, The Attic Eatery, and teens hanging out

SPECIAL EVENTS are planned throughout the year, like concerts, Youth Extreme, service projects, movie nights, photo scavenger hunts and much more. 

And during the summer we have DROP-INS where the teens and leaders drop-in at someone’s house (usually where there is a pool) to hang out for the evening.

This programming leads students to discover a faith in God of their own and helps prepare them for a lifetime of ministry and influence.

We meet in The Attic during the 11am service hour, so teens can still attend or serve during the 9am worship service.

Teens are making more and more decisions for themselves at this age, which is why all of our youth programs teach & reinforce 7 Checkpoints…

Authentic Faith: putting your trust in God

Spiritual Disciplines: seeing with God’s eyes

Moral Boundaries: paving the way for intimacy

Healthy Friendships: choosing friends for life

Wise Choices: walking wisely in a fool’s world

As with all of our programming, we encourage parents to stay connected and to get involved.  Parent contact information is required for all our kids, so we can keep you in the loop.
